Factoids

VFR stands for V-Four Racing. Four model designations – ‘R'(fully faired, most common), ‘Z’ (side fairings and belly pan with two round headlights), ‘K’ (single round headlight & bar risers) and ‘P'(police version). Was sold in the UK for four years, but with a price tag of £5899, it cost as much as a 1000cc bike and so failed to sell well.
